Thanksgiving 2016

Welcome to this special, Thanksgiving edition of Driving Your Career Starts NOW/The Newsletter.

This issue: how to answer that awkward over-Thanksgiving-dinner question about your job search.

Feelings of gratitude override those of fear or frustration. Know that if you're truly working at your career, you will reach your goal.
Happy Thanksgiving to each one of you!

What to say when they ask...

The Question comes in various forms:
- "How is your job search going?"
- "You're STILL looking for a job?!"
-  "Why don't you go work for cousin Frankie down at his shop?"

If you are between jobs, you hate these questions. Job search today isn't what it used to be and many who are not in search (or never have been) don't understand.

Questions like these, to someone looking for a job, are even worse than this year's most dreaded "What did you think of the election?"
